Understanding Our Policies

Our Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) outline the legal framework for interactions with our website. They define the rights and responsibilities of both the visitors and us as the floral designer. These policies are tailored to ensure a transparent and secure experience for all users.

Thank you for trusting me to turn your special blooms into a lasting keepsake. Each piece is created with care, creativity, and respect for your original bouquet. Here’s a little insight into what happens once your flowers arrive at my studio, from the drying process to framing, plus a few important details to keep in mind.

What Happens After I Receive Your Bouquet

Once your beautiful bouquet arrives at my studio, I begin by taking detailed photographs to capture every angle and bloom. These photos serve as my reference for recreating your arrangement after the drying process.

From there, I carefully deconstruct the bouquet and select the most suitable blooms for preservation. Each flower is gently placed in silica sand, then sealed and stored in a cool, dark environment. I monitor the drying process daily, as some flowers can become over-dried if left too long.

The drying time varies depending on the type of flower and the season, often taking several weeks. Some flowers may require colour correction, and in certain cases, individual blooms may need to be substituted entirely due to how they respond to drying. Once I’m confident the flowers are fully dried and looking their best, I begin the creative process of reassembling your bouquet within your chosen frame size. Every arrangement is thoughtfully designed to reflect the original bouquet as closely as possible, while also ensuring balance and longevity. When the design is complete, your frame is sealed and ready to go home with you. Each frame is completely customisable- whether you’d like to include a dried buttonhole, photo, or other special memento, I’m happy to discuss all available options with you.

The Important (but Boring) Bits- Disclaimer

I do my absolute best to honour the original arrangement created by your florist, but please note that your framed bouquet is ultimately an artistic interpretation.

Because flowers are a natural product, their behaviour during the drying process is unpredictable and can be influenced by a number of factors including:

• Time of year

• Age and condition of the flowers when picked

• How long they take to arrive at the studio

• How they were handled and hydrated before arrival

To give your flowers the best chance, place them in water as soon as possible after your ceremony and photographs.

While I take every care to preserve each flower, not all blooms are suitable for drying. Some may lose their structure or colour, and may not be viable for framing. Substitutions may be necessary, but I will always work to maintain the spirit and beauty of your bouquet.

Long-Term Care

Once framed, your dried blooms are best kept in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight. Like all natural materials, they will continue to age over time. Fading, softening of colours, or a more vintage appearance is completely normal.

It’s also common to notice small pieces or dust settling at the bottom of the frame over time especially as the arrangement naturally ages or is moved. This is to be expected and does not affect the overall quality or integrity of your piece.

I’m always here to help guide you through the process or discuss any custom ideas you may have. Your bouquet holds meaning, and it’s a privilege to preserve that for you. If you have any questions before, during, or after the process, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
